Vehicle Detail
1963 Imperial Crown We are here for you at MotoeXotica Classic Cars and will ensure your online buying experience will be a pleasurable one from start to finish. We are now in our 10th year selling on Ebay with over 1,300 positive feedbacks! MotoeXotica was one of the Pioneer Classic Car dealers on Ebay and have seen a lot of dealers come and go. We have a brick and mortar 30,000 sq. ft. building on 5 acres in St. Louis, MO to serve you; we like to sell our cars the same way as we would like to purchase them, fairly and honestly. We ask for a nominal $500.00 credit card deposit and give you a 7 day grace period to inspect the car. If you find the car not to your liking we will refund your deposit with no questions asked should you get here and not like the vehicle. We all know that the financial times right now are tough. With the stock market being so volatile and investments becoming less valuable, many people are turning to the classic car market to invest their money. Putting your money into a hard asset that you can enjoy everyday is becoming a very popular option, especially now when the marketplace is lower then it’s been in many years. We invite you to put your money into a vehicle that is fun to own and brings back memories of when you were younger. We offer financing through two of the best lenders in the industry. If you visit www.jjbest.com or www.woodsidecredit.com they are currently offering very attractive rates for all collector and special interest automobiles. With loan amounts from $10,000 to $500,000, and flexible terms of up to 12 years, you can get financed for as low as 6.99%. Please feel free to contact us at anytime during the duration of the auction with any questions you may have. Please see my "ME" Page for other exciting cars of distinction on EBAY. Start Slideshow Stop Slideshow Next Image Previous Image Despite the annual styling changes, all 1960-63 Imperials featured a similar space age dashboard. The steering wheel was squared-off at top and bottom, designed for better leg room and view through the windshield in the straight ahead position. Dashboard lighting was electroluminescent, which used no light bulbs: electricity running through a five-layer laminate caused the phosphorescent paint to glow in the dark. Chrysler called it "Panelescent", and it was shared on some Chrysler models. The effect was eerie and surprisingly modern, with its glowing green face and bright red needles. The 1960-63 models were also united by a distinctive side trim that started above the headlights and that ran at a slight downward angle almost to the end of the rear fender (except in 1963 when it would actually wrap all the way around the rear of the car) that was undercut by a slight indent in the sides from the front until just before the rear wheel housing. The 1963 Imperials saw the split grille disappear again, replaced by a cluster of chromed rectangles, and the taillights were now inside the rear fenders, in ordinary fashion, for the first time. In addition, the designers redesigned the rooflines of base and Crown, two and four door models to be more squared off with thicker c pillars. 1963 models were the last Virgil Exner–styled Imperials, however Elwood Engel began applying some of his own touches to them, especially in the form of the redesigned base and Crown roofs. LeBaron roofs remained the same with formal styling and closed in rear window. 14,121 cars were produced for 1963.The 1963 Imperial Lebaron you see here has been with the same owner since 1987 and is showing less than 100,000 ORIGINAL miles! The car was originally purchased by a doctor who had the car until 1987. It was then sold to the previous owner who we purchased the car from. This Imperial comes loaded with options and is a great driving four door hardtop. The paint on the car is in very good condition and is finished in its original color of Alabaster. The car has been repainted in the past and still retains a very good shine and luster. The stainless trim and front grill all look great with no notable damage or missing pieces. The front and rear chrome bumpers appear to have been rechromed and look great. Inside, the original red interior is in wonderful, original condition. The seats appear to be the original leather bench’s which show minimal wear. No splits to be found to either seat. The front seat is power and works like it should. The carpet, door panels, headliner and kick panels are all equally as nice with no notable wear or damage. The carpet appears to have been replaced and is covered with a one piece floor mat in the front. Options inside include power windows, power seat, power vent windows, power locks and autronic eye.Under the hood, the 413 Cu In V8 has been nicely detailed and looks great. The engine compartment shows no signs of damage. This is a power steering, power brake and A/C car. On the road, the car is a joy to drive and goes down the road with no issues. The steel wheels are covered in correct Imperial hubcaps that look great. There are two original hubcaps included in the trunk. VIN number is 9233232602 and the car is being sold on a clean Wisconsin title showing the previous owner having the car since 1987. Mileage shows 99,460 and is said to be original for the car.
