Vehicle Detail
Body condition is excellent as you can see in the photos, Iv'ed had it since 1995, since 1995, I have seen NO sign's of Rust, Bondo,Body is original, straight and true, No Dents,No Dings! Speedo and Odometer are fine. Fuel/ oil pressure/ amp and tempt don't work,...never got around to them;-( It has been a ranch truck and every few years I would do some more restoration, has always lived in the Barn. Almost forgot,.... right turn signal doesn't work, and there's a little bitty leak in the gas tank, As you can see in the photos Drivers seat needs some work,....( right now I have some custom black Duck Tape fixing that),....Also the top headliner needs replaced,....Steering wheel is not stock, but I have original that goes with,....There's a paint chip just below the gas cap ,..... New U-joints front end, new clutch this spring,....Originally sold in CA, then to CO, I bought it in 1995 from previous owner from CA, who had started restoration. Has a rebuilt Chevy 350 ( with about 85,000 miles ) and a mile-maker overdrive, when you want, 4 speed Toyota trany, it has 8 forward gears in hi- range, 8 in low range,... kinda over kill---- but you don't need to use it if you don't want to,.... it's pretty cool though when you're going down the interstate and pass someone going about 90, and they're wondering what just passed them:-) Otherwize, you can just keep it in regular Toyota Gears ,... Hi-Way or Off Road,... you choose,....It's all original, except for the 350,.... for you diehards out there, it would be cheeper to throw in an original 6, than to fix up a rust bucket ;-) Some more history,.... Since 1973, all I have been driving for my # 1 Ride is 10 FJ40's, 3 FJ45's, ( one diesel)Take care,Steve
