On Oct-26-12 at 11:05:15 PDT, seller added the following information: 1970 Opel GT (Mini Corvette)Stock 1900cc 4cyl engine, 4sp transThis little beauty is a California car and was stored in a garage for over 25 years. Odometer reads under 47k which I believe to be original mileage but have no way of verifying. (I was taught when the odometer turns over 100k on older cars the numbers don’t align in a straight line). These numbers are straight! No cancerous rust. Solid floorboards, rockers, wheel wells.Cleaned gas tank and replaced fluids, all new: points, plugs, condenser, rotor, distributor cap and battery and this baby fired right up.New parts since I have owned this: radiator core, thermostat, water pump, radiator and heater hoses, clutch, pressure plate, throw out and pilot bearings, machined flywheel, tires, shocks, upgraded carburetor/air filter, battery, fuel pump, fuel filter, rotors/brake pads, turned back drums (shoes looked like new), rubber brake lines, wiper blades, antenna, chrome header, bumpers re-chromed, carpet, upholstery repaired (headliner has a couple of small holes), dash has cracks, some dings on the underside of the 'nose' (can't be seen from street level) and could use a better paint job.Found some original parts that were missing or needed replacement such as the fan shroud, front grill, lenses and even an original locking gas cap!Clean CA title, Registered Non-Op.
