we have a 1970 mercedes 280s that we purchased over 24yrs ago drove it for maybe 1yr and my mother in law wanted it we sold it to her and she parked it in her garage for about 12 yrs since we all moved to Ohio some ten years ago its been outside the rust on the hood came from a leaky garage when it was inside her garage in New York and never used it it was just painted and cleaned up at that time and was running and driving fine only radiator had a leak but we repaired that even before she purchased it from us it is still a solid car but needs restored it will crank but will not start her grandson says the first thing is it needs a fuel pump but this was about 8 yrs ago anyway she passed away in 2006 and the car is still in my wifes name and its just time to let it go so its up for sale it was a good car in its day when we drove it but sitting around for all these years did it no justice rockers floors and frame and trunk seem to be in good shape from what i can see it does have some rust here and there but nothing critical to the structure of the car it is complete missing door handle is in the trunk well it is a project but a solid one you can call if you have any questions 330-402-9657 mike thanks.
