1969 AMC REBEL 290 V8 Automatic This old classic is ready to go to a new garage. It is a cool hobby car. Fun to take the kids out for ice cream. The car has been taken care of over the years and has a new (Maaco) paint job. The paint job could have been better. It is the exact original color and it was their basic enamal job for $700. Paint job is fair. Please see pictures and ask any questions before you bid. Many new parts including complete dual exhaust, tires, oil pan gasket, re-balanced drive shaft and seal, u-joints. New fluids, filters, suspension parts up front. Good cooling system, no leaks or over-heating issues. Good battery and new alternator. The police light on the roof was put there just for the photo. Turn this classic forerunner to the Adam 12 Matador into your own Police Tribute car! I have fog lights installed where the high beams lights are and are operational, see pics. Interior is in need of some fresh seat covers, front and rear. Headliner and visors, door panals ok. Dash has crack in middle, see pics. Needs radio antenna, rear springs and shocks soon, valve guide seals, horns disconnected because horn cap sensitive! I was behind a cop and it started just going off. Not cool! This is a drivable hobby car. The motor smokes when starting for a brief time as it needs new valve guide seals. Does not seem to blow smoke when driving, just after you turn it off and then restart a brief time later, it smokes! I would not hesitate to drive this car 300 miles right now.
