1997 Mercedes SL500 with 123,xxx miles. This car is a mechanics special and does have issues. This is above my head to restore. The car does start and drive, but idles rough. The car overheats. The car has some light blue smoke on idle. The brakes have not been inspected. The tires have little tread. The convertible top is non-functional, it can be removed manually. The soft top is rough around the edges. The rear glass on the hard top is cracked. The bottom front fender has a crack in it. The fan for the heating and air conditioning is always on; it cannot be turned off unless the car is off. The radio is not working. The leather is dirty and has rips and tears in the seats. The overall interior is dirty. The exterior has scratches and dings and is rough around the edges. The area by the visor is damaged. This car is being sold AS-IS and is a project for someone who knows how to fix and restore cars/ mechanic special.
