Vehicle Detail
I am selling my 1993 Jeep YJ wrangler. I am only the second owner of this jeep and also the "builder." It is lifted 6 inches with many modifications. Jeep is sold as is. It was originally built up from its stock condition in 2008 as a rock crawler in Utah. I have driven it very hard and enjoyed every minute of it. Champion of the "Crush the cone course" multiple times, has seen thousands of miles of trails from Utah to Arizona including slick rock and moab. It has a 6 inch Rough Country Leaf spring suspension lift, rebuilt 242 bored over .030 with around 11,000 miles on it. Lots of low end power with limited high end power, articulate but not fast engine. Has an edlebrock throttle body spacer, Pacesetter headers, evenflow exhaust, cragar black soft 8 rims mounted with 35X12.50 mud kings in the rear and 35X12.50 BF goodrich mud terrains in the front. Has a modified cold air intake, new brake lines, new guages, custom built trail box in the rear that is removable to install back seat. Sunscreen bimini top, no doors or top. Custom made fenders are 9.5" wide and hold more than the weight of two grown men. 4 off road lights(need to be wired) and mounts for 4 more. Okay, heres the negatives. Like I said I drove it hard and spent alot of time smashing cones. The tranny (AX15) did not get replaced with the engine and currently needs a rebuild, synchros went bad. The alternator seized while in storage this winter so when I started it up to pull it out and in to the garage for cleaning the belt snapped. The driver side rear wheel is locked up but not seized as it will turn in reverse and on hard corners. The lifter/pushrod in either number 3 or 6 needs to be replaced (not a big deal, just annoying) and the engine will need a good flush since it has been in storage a while there may be moisture in the block. New battery and the engine runs great. The body is in need of some work, my last rollover popped some bondo work and spot welds from a previous roll, but all the parts are good, just needs some welding, sanding and probably paint since the desert heat is hard on vehicles. Thus, this is a project to be enjoyed. It is trail ready for anyone who knows their way around a Jeep. Myself and a few Jeep'n buddies could have this back on the trail in a weekend or two so its not far off. Summer has come to an end and as my daughters sports increase in frequency and cost its time to part with Big Blue and move on to more child friendly hobbies (at least for now). VERY LOW RESERVE as I know this will make someone a very good "toy." Its a Jeep and there is always ways to customize. Feel free to ask any questions you have. Transportation may be able to be arranged for you if need be, but is your responsibility and not part of this auction, thus this vehicle is being offered as a pick up only. Deposit of $500.00 or 50% of sale price (whichever is greater) is due within 48 hours of auction close. Buyer will have 7 days to pick up the Jeep, or make arrangements otherwise. Storage of $25.00 per day will apply after 7 days if no arrangements have been made with me. Bid with confidence, serious bidders only as I DO NOT cancel bids. On Nov-10-12 at 10:50:41 PST, seller added the following information: I will also throw in a spare tire mount bike rack made by Yakima to the winning bidder.
