this is actually a 2 wheel drive 1982 suburban mounted on a 1983 4x4 suburban running gear. its been a project of mine for years and is about 97% done. im just moving on to different things. it runs and moves under its own power. the 454 engine has been bored .030 over. new pistons and moly rings, edelbrock performer rpm aluminum intake,edelbrock 750 carb with electric choke, aluminum roller rockers, crane comp cam, dual oil filters, headers, electric fans, k&n air cleaner, msd ignition, new aluminum distributer, hei cap, plugs, new 8.8 mm plug wires etc. the trans is a rebuilt turbo 350, b&m rebuild kit b&m shift kit and a hughes 2500 rpm stall converter with a chrome pan with a drain plug, with a b&m star shifter. the front axle has spicer axle shafts and u-joints, the rear is a gm 14 bolt with factory limited slip. it has regrooved 39.5 inch super swamper tires with inner tubes already installed for no slow leaks mounted new rims with new lugnuts and stainless steel centers. new headers and dual exaust with flowmaster type mufflers. dual universal jouint borgeson steering shaft. dual frames, new 12000 pound viper winch with accessory kit can be mounted to either the front or rear via the reese hitches and is both wired or wireless controlled. trans temp cooler with guage, auxillary brake booster, aluminum fuel tank, traction bars and many more aftermarket goodies. the body is practically rust free no cracked glass even the power windows work as well as the sliding window in the rear. the windshield is new. the motor has had the cam broke in but i havent done a good engine break in yet such as fine tuning the timing and re-adjusting the valves and setting up the carb, i wanted to put some more running time on it first. i have a clear title for the running gear part i just didnt get one for the body. im not sure what your state would need to do to make it street legal but that was never my plan as it probably sits to high anyways. i have ran the bottom part on the highway for years and drives smooth even at 70 mph. it needs to have a rear driveshaft made for it. also i noticed one of the u-joints in the front driveshaft is getting a little loose but i move it around ok and it would be ok to drive it onto a trailer. if you dont own any tools or have never worked on a truck before this probably isnt the truck for you. but it is huge and its a head turner for sure. im pricing it to sell. the motor alone has in it what im asking for the whole truck. i just need more room and ive got too many projects my loss is your gain. feel free to ask any questions.
