Vehicle Detail

NEEDS ENGINE or ENGINE REPAIR Transmission is still good, the car was running great up until the engine went, a few days ago. It will start, but it doesn't sound good and will not make it far before stalling out. Most importantly, I will be donating AT LEAST 25% of the proceeds to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the KBB value of the car, before the engine blew was around $2500, if we hit that I will donate 50% of the money to Make-A-Wish, if we come close to that or somewhere near that I will still increase the donation by at least 15%. The car has 146,357 Original Miles Leather Seats Moonroof/Sunroof Spare Tire (no jack) 6 Disc CD Changer (missing the 6 disc cassette) REMOTE START, 2 Keys and Keyfobs for the remote start which was installed aftermarket Cassette Player Radio New Spark Plug Coils New Upper Radiator Hose Newer (2-3 Years ago) Lower Radiator Hose Newer battery (1-3 Years ago) Rear sway bar mounts were replaced about 3 years ago Locking Gas Cap Windows are still good Electric is good I think 2 of the tires are good, the other 2 could use replacing but still good Rims are still good This is the SE trim with the Dual Overhead Cams. Basically, you will need to have it towed to wherever you are taking it, it is currently in Allen Park, MI, it started a few times after the engine seized up, but I wouldn't trust driving it very far. Selling this for the remaining parts, the trans is still good or selling it for repairs. There are rust bubbles near the tire/wheel wells, which is common at this age of Taurus. The driver side mirror was knocked off and repaired using Gorilla Glue and Black Duct Tape, because we had trouble finding a new mirror, the power and heat still works to the mirror though. Additional pictures have been posted. Ask any additional questions you may have!
