Vehicle Detail
A 1967 Land Rover Series IIa that has been gone through, with Thousands of dollars in reciepts.. I have alot of documentation/research from the previous owner, and this shows how and why he did the repairs/upgrades he did.. This is a very respectable couple of year old Freshen Up/Restoration, and really doesnt need anything. In a couple of the bottom pictures, you will see some expansion foam on the driverside floorboard, and that is only there to add a buffer between the Air Conditioning Lines and the Body, there are no Holes in the floor there. The paint is bright and Shines Great, but does have some chips and scratches here or there.. There are a few of the typical body imperfections (Spot Welds, Creases, Etc) under the paint that these vehicles are prone, but the body is very very decent. The Hard to find Safari Roof is in good shape, and all the roof vents work correctly. The adjustable Yakima Roof Rack Bars are in great working order, and are fully adustable with the ability to slide front to back, so you can mount Cargo Baskets or Canoes.. The motor was completely gone through in March of 2011, and has very few miles on it since, due to the rest of the work that was being done after. The motor is Currently still in it New Spotless Condition, because it has not been run enough to even get dirty. The motor was built professionaly and correctly, with the Turner Engineering Ported and Polished Cylinder Head for Lead Free Gas installed, Bored .060 over, High Flow Intake, New Zenith Carb, Electronic Ignition, and much more.. All the build parts were furnished by Turner Engineering out of Great Britian, and that includes the fully service Cylinder Head. The Drive Line has been gone through also, and the Rover Drive Over-drive system was installed, along with Lock Out Hubs for the front axle. The Drive Shafts have been completely rebuild/replaced, and are in great shape.. The Transmission/Transfer Case has been gone through also, and is all in working order.. Seals, Gaskets, Bearing, Brakes, Etc, has all been replaced also, and all the Fluids has been replaced during the process. The 9000 pound Winch has never been used for anything, but is all wired up and ready to go, with all the controls in the storage compartment below the Driver Seat. The B.F. Goodrich Tires are atleast 90 Percent Tread, and it great shape, along with the new Matching Spare mounted on the hood. Here is a YouTube walk around video.. For some reason the microphone on the camera amplifies some noise, and you can see this in my other video's. The motor is very smooth and quiet, with no issues.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FDNZNAYKaaI&feature=youtu.be The AC System on this Land Rover was done correctly, and is Custom.. It is using a Sanden Compressor unit, with custom Brackets, along with the custom fitment of the Nostalgic Air Conditioning Kit.. This system Blows Cold, and works great. Everything on this Land Rover Works.. All the lights and Guages work Great (Even the Dome Light Works).. The Turn Signal/Brake lights work, High Low on the Headlights Work, Wipers, ect.. This truck will Pass Safety Inspection in your state, so there are no issues there.. The interior is Clean and pretty Fresh, and functions well.. The Tuffy Box has a CD player mounted inside of it, with rear mounted speakers.. The Rover Drive Overdrive, really does the trick.. It really makes the highway driving work well (60-65), but really helps the in town drive out, by giving it the perfect gear shifting range for your normal 0-55 mph driving that is in most Urban Areas.. I have a very reasonable Vehicle Transport Company I deal with, and they are normally atleast half of what your Ebay Delivery Sevices will charge.. On serious buyers, I would be happy to give you their contact info for delivery quotes. On Sep-04-12 at 18:12:37 PDT, seller added the following information: I had a couple questions about the paint, so let me just say this.. There are only a few Chips, and not really any scratches in the paint.. If you look at the pictures, you can see that is it very shiny and has alot of gloss and clean. The paint has a fresh appearance, and I dont want to run down the actual clean appearance in my description, so I thought I should clarify a bit. This Rover stands out of the crowd, and it looks very good in person, so it does stand on its own just fine.On Nov-01-12 at 18:17:20 PDT, seller added the following information: To answer some of the future emails about service and repairs on this Rover, here are some links to Invoices/Reciept over the last year, and I hope that tells the story here. There are alot of logs, reciepts, and highlighted research that goes with this Rover, so you can see why and how everything was done.. http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/ll255/Iamtheonlyreal1/1967%20Land%20Rover%20Series%20IIa/001_zpsd3cb9095.jpg http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/ll255/Iamtheonlyreal1/1967%20Land%20Rover%20Series%20IIa/002_zps260e1270.jpg http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/ll255/Iamtheonlyreal1/1967%20Land%20Rover%20Series%20IIa/003_zps964e0065.jpg http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/ll255/Iamtheonlyreal1/1967%20Land%20Rover%20Series%20IIa/004_zps020345fe.jpg http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/ll255/Iamtheonlyreal1/1967%20Land%20Rover%20Series%20IIa/005_zps0f42a92b.jpg http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/ll255/Iamtheonlyreal1/1967%20Land%20Rover%20Series%20IIa/006_zpsdb2ef96b.jpg http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/ll255/Iamtheonlyreal1/1967%20Land%20Rover%20Series%20IIa/007_zps2672a11c.jpg http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/ll255/Iamtheonlyreal1/1967%20Land%20Rover%20Series%20IIa/008_zps2fdb400b.jpg http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/ll255/Iamtheonlyreal1/1967%20Land%20Rover%20Series%20IIa/009_zps6466cd64.jpg http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/ll255/Iamtheonlyreal1/1967%20Land%20Rover%20Series%20IIa/010_zpsec5de190.jpg http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/ll255/Iamtheonlyreal1/1967%20Land%20Rover%20Series%20IIa/011_zps9512e819.jpg http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/ll255/Iamtheonlyreal1/1967%20Land%20Rover%20Series%20IIa/012_zps0082e4c6.jpg http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/ll255/Iamtheonlyreal1/1967%20Land%20Rover%20Series%20IIa/013_zps20c79cad.jpg http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/ll255/Iamtheonlyreal1/1967%20Land%20Rover%20Series%20IIa/014_zps468a1874.jpg http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/ll255/Iamtheonlyreal1/1967%20Land%20Rover%20Series%20IIa/015_zpsf7dc8f88.jpg http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/ll255/Iamtheonlyreal1/1967%20Land%20Rover%20Series%20IIa/016_zps99541436.jpg http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/ll255/Iamtheonlyreal1/1967%20Land%20Rover%20Series%20IIa/017_zpsf3570ea6.jpg http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/ll255/Iamtheonlyreal1/1967%20Land%20Rover%20Series%20IIa/018_zps7984e687.jpg http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/ll255/Iamtheonlyreal1/1967%20Land%20Rover%20Series%20IIa/019_zps173dce90.jpg
