OVER 95 PICTURES showing everything. Exterior, interior, undercarriage, frame, engine compartment, and trunk. PICTURES http://s1084.photobucket.com/albums/j405/kinyurd/ THIS IS A CLONE….. BUT IT IS A BUCKET SEAT BIG BLOCK WITH A 12 BOLT. 454 automatic with power steering, power brakes, and a/c. NOT a rusty car. Floor pans, trunk pan, rockers, fenders, doors, hood, top, and deck lid are all solid. You can still see much of the red oxide from the factory underneath. This car was stolen 9-12-2011 and recovered on 9-29-2011 by the MO Highway Patrol. The problem was the fool tried to outrun them and crashed. It wasn’t bad and the right 1/4 sustained the damage but it was still enough for the insurance to total the car. I bought it back from the insurance company for a father/son project on 1-16-2012. All body work was professionally done. The passenger 1/4 was damaged as was the inner and outer wheel house and the passenger 1/3 of the trunk pan. The driver side quarter had very little damage but had some rust around the wheel opening so we had it replaced as well. Sheet metal is all Goodmark GM. We had the body shop repair any and all door dings and minor scuffs and scrapes and prime them and replaced both bumpers. We pulled the 71 454-365hp and had it completely rebuilt by a well known local shop. It was cleaned, magnifluxed, bored .030 and received new pistons, rings, reconditioned rods, crank kit, cam & lifters, true roller timing chain, oil pump, cam bearings, freeze plugs, new 7 quart oil pan, etc. The heads were also cleaned and checked and had a complete valve job. The 350 turbo trans was completely rebuilt and a stage 2 B&M shift kit was installed and a new cooler and converter were added. With the engine and trans out we scraped and wire brushed the frame and painted it with Emron chassis black. We rebuilt the complete front end and added big block springs. The idler arm, tie rods, ball joints, shocks, sway bar links and bushings, upper and lower control arm bushings, and shocks were also replaced. We added new brakes, all new complete exhaust system, new tires, new battery and battery cables. We installed the engine and trans, added a new starter, water pump, big block radiator, Edlebrock Performer 2.0 intake and 600 Holley. Car runs and drives great, sets on 185 degrees no mater what. Oil pressure is 70 lbs cold and 45 hot idling in gear. Trans shifts good and crisp. Interior is very nice. Seats, headliner, carpet, dash, all are really nice and need nothing I have some parts that go with it like the rear marker light bezels, rear hood molding, door jamb 1/4 vents, a/c compressor. (condenser is still there and good, you’ll need a line set) WHAT DOES IT NEED? The paint on it now was very expensive at one time, it is a Burnished Bronze (original color) with a Candy flip flop and changes colors in t he light. (you’ll see some blue, red, silver) The windshield has a wiper mark on it. It needs paint, turn signal lever, radio, door and trunk weather strips, trunk spatter painted, and a new home. This is a great car that has been setting in my garage since about May waiting to be completed and it doesn’t look like its going to happen. Other interests and lack of time and help have made me decide to sell. Driven less than 200 miles since all work was performed. Car is a theft recovery and now has a prior salvage title but can be titled in any state and is completely road worthy.
