Vehicle Detail

This is a 1988 Honda CRX with automatic transmission. I bought this car from the original owner in July of 2009 with 161k miles. I have put on about 20,000 miles in the last three and a half years. The car averages 7,500 miles a year and gets 34mpg on the highway.Since I've had it, the timing belt and water pump have been replaced, along with the alternator and the distributor. I have records of all maintenance I have done. Oil changes are always done at 3 months, even when I've put on less than 3,000 miles. The air conditioning works, but the heat blows ambient air. I've been told that the car needs a new heater cable. The exterior is in great, really great shape. There is one spot behind the rear driver side wheel where paint has chipped off and there is a bit of rust. This is about the size of a ladybug (best descriptor I can think of). There is a small crack in the paint on the roof, and some oxidation around it.Interior is really nice, but there is the standard worn spot on the driver's seat. The passenger seat is perfect. The car will come with an Alpine CD player but there currently no speakers in it. It's wired for a small amplifier that sits in the storage box behind the passenger seat. I had a four channel, so wires are already run to each speaker. The car runs and drives, but one cylinder has no compression. My mechanic believes that the valve isn't seating properly, but I am not going to pull the head off to fix it. This car has been excellent and very reliable. I can post videos of it starting and running. On Oct-26-12 at 15:50:16 PDT, seller added the following information: I had a question about the transmission. It shifts just fine, just as would be expected. The car still runs and drives, I drove to my mechanic and back (about 12 miles, 20 minutes each way) on the freeway without a problem. I wouldn't drive it across the country on 3 cylinders, but it will get around town.
