Vehicle Detail

SC/302: Up for sale is my supercharged 1991 Ford Mustang LX convertible (dubbed SC/302). The supercharger is a 2.1L Blowzilla by Kenne Bell. The supercharger is currently pushing 311hp and 373lbs of torque with 7.5lbs of boost. With a better tune it could get 360hp+ and over 400lbs of torque if the tuner maps out the fuel pump and MAF and calibrates them for max horsepower. UNDERHOOD: Kenne Bell 2.1 Blowzilla supercharger, 41lb (green) Ford Racing fuel injectors, 255lph fuel pump, Jumbo Fuel rails and adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator with underhood fuel pressure gauge. 76mm C&L high-flow MAF. Custom made fiberglass underhood cold-air intake with BigMouth air filter that pulls in cold air from the fenderwell. Long tube 3" headers with 2.5" custom built exhaust that exits just before the rear tires. Programmable Diablo Tuning Chip that can hold 2 different tune programs with rocker switch (the chip currently has 1 tune on it, and the switch is not installed, but I have the switch at home). Cobra 3-core radiator and new clutch for the fan. New distributor cap, rotor, spark plugs and wires. 3G alternator pulled from a Taurus that pushes 125 amps. The supercharged 5.0 has been mounted to a 5-Speed T5 transmission from the original AOD automatic transmission and is mated to a 4.10 rearend. The transmission also has a short-throw shifter installed. INTERIOR: The interior has been redone, white/black interior with black carpet and reupholstered white vinyl seats with the SC/302 logo embroidered into them. There is a 2.5" boost/vacuum gauge in the drivers side vent, and the shifter has the classic-white ball Hurst shifter mounted to it. The rear seats have been removed and replaced with 3 pairs of speakers, 2 Infinity 6"x9"'s, 2 6" rounds, and 2 1" Tweeters all paired to a 600 watt amp. Even driving with the top down the stereo sounds amazing. The speakers in the doors are also brand new, and the car has A-pillar mounted 1" Tweeters, again the stereo system sounds amazing. Inside there is also a dash-mounted rear-view camera that replaced the rear-vew mirror. The camera only turns on when the car is running and works amazingly, you can see everything behind the car! The camera has been mounted in the keyhole of the trunk and the trunk is unlockable from the inside of the car. EXTERIOR: Wheels are '07 GT500 -style 16" rims with staggered Raptor tires. The car has brand new brakes on her, X-drilled and slotted rotors with brand new brake shoes. Shocks were replaced just a few years ago with KYB Gas-A-Just shocks and struts. There is a 1979 Mustang hood scoop on the front of the car that feeds cool air into the engine compartment, on the rear deck is a very rare ASC-McClaren spoiler without the rear taillight. There are only 2 of these spoilers that exist that I know of, and one is on the back of my car. Also on the front of the car is a '93 Cobra Grille. THE BAD: The reason why I'm getting rid of the car for so cheap is because I have too many cars right now and need to get rid of a few of them. The supercharger alone on the car is worth $3000, not to mention all the extras that this car has. The starter is out, and the transmission needs to be pulled out to replace it because the long-tube headers wrap around the starter. The car still runs and starts up easily if you push start it for right now. The convertible top also needs to be replaced, the rear glass has fallen out and the top is starting to rip at the seams, normal stress on a 21-year old top will do that. But the convertible motors still work great at putting the top up and down. The spoiler was seamlessly integrated into the trunk but does need to be redone because there is some cracking around the seams. I also have left over "SC/302" decals that you can put on the corner of the trunk after it is redone. OVERALL CONDITION: The car is Oxford White and has never been wrecked. It has had a few love-taps while parked, but all have been fixed, there was one small hit from the tow-hinge of a Dodge Durango that damaged only the front driver fender, but the fender was replaced with a factory replacement and repainted to match exactly, you cant even notice the difference. It is a 1991 so the plastic trim around the car used to be black, when the fender was being redone the black rubber/plastic that wraps around the car was also painted Oxford White to match the rest of the car. The car has just over 100k miles at 112,746.5
