Vehicle Detail

1972 PORSCHE 911 T MODEL IM GOING TO TRY AND LIST THE GOOD AND THE BAD ACCURATELY. THIS IS MY 5TH 911 OVER THE PAST 10 YEARS I RECENTLY ACQUIRED THIS 911 AS A PROJECT THE GOOD Solid car w/o any major rustMetal flares on the front and rearSolid brakes, I replaced parking brake shoes5 speed transmissionlater model 2.7 injected engine, VERY QUICK IN THIS LIGHT WEIGHT CHASSISpop off valve on airboxgood carpetlater model seats, possibly out of a 993? clean w/ no tears or wearstraight bodyengine and trans was purchased from Istooks, a reputable porsche mechanic in fort worth texastrans/engine/clutch are supposed to have less than 2k miles THE BAD cheap cheap cheap paint, looks like a maaco job72 style oil tank and door has been deletedhole cut in truck area, prev owner said it was for an aftermarket oil cooler?LOWERED SUSPENSION-really really rough ridegraphics were on the car so cheapo paint peeled in some areas when removed, but it has been touched upoil leak-EITHER VALVE COVERS OR PUSHROD TUBESback seats are in rough shapepower drain on battery, working on diagnosing this. the car had a master switch on it when i bought it, which has been removedtach and oil temp gauge does not work I love the car, it would be a great project. But to get it where it needs to be, its going to take at least 5k out of my pocket Im wanting to buy another rental house, something that gives me $ rather than takes it so I figured if I can get at least 12k out of this I will go that route. So 12k is my reserve, which I feel is fair. Clean texas title, ready for transfer On Oct-24-12 at 07:12:08 PDT, seller added the following information: Forgot to add the car was a sunroof car, appears to have been patched. At certain angles you can see a dip where the original sunroof line was. Tried to capture on camera but no luck
