1985 Jeep Scrambler. Last year of production. 1 of 2015. Renegade package with Automatic trans, PS/PB. Factory soft top truck with OEM top, doors, and tonneau in fantastic shape. Original inline 6 with Howell Fuel injection. Rebuilt trans, new tires, new Black Diamond 3" lift kit. New water pump, distributor, belts, hoses and Optima battery. Orignal seats in excellent shape. This is a survivor truck from the desert southwest. Steers, handles, and drives great. This truck was not frame off restored, but full babied since new and recently refreshed. The exterior has been resprayed in the original silver color, and the original paint remains under the fenders, hood etc. The entire bed and interior floors have been professionally coated in color matched bedliner. This truck is one of the cleanest Scramblers I have ever seen. Undercarraige is immaculate. No leaks, tight steering and strong brakes. Needs nothing other than a stereo if you want one. I've been told the decals are for an 83-84 Scrambler, these can be easily removed and replaced if desired. This is a true 1985 well optioned truck. I've got the chance to purchase a newer 4 door Jeep from a friend, so letting this Scrambler go. I searched for a long time to decide on this CJ8, but going with the newer Jeep for rear passenger safety. This truck was recently purchased in NM and brought to TX.
