Vehicle Detail
For sale is my 1991 Honda CRX HF. I am selling it because I recently purchased a 1991 Honda CRX Si. It has been well maintained with all the records available. Timing belt changed within the last 5,000 miles, new bushings, shocks, rear coil springs, radiator within the last year. I put new tires on it withing the last 2 weeks. I also installed Cruise Control from a Honda DX sedan so it looks, works and preforms just like Honda would have wanted it to. If you want to know how to tell a true HF at 70 MPH the RPM is only about 2000. My Si's RPM's are about 4000 at the same speed. This is why the HF (Stands for high fuel efficiency) get such great gas mileage. I am the fourth owner of this car and I know the previous 3 owners. The car was orginally sold by West Broad Honda in Richmond, Va. While it has been on the East coast the entire time it has been pampered and maintained. I did put an aftermarket exhaust system on it only because I already had it from my other CRX and it was no cost to me. It is still bone stock with zero modifications and still gets 50 plus mpg on the highway especially with the cruise engaged. The A/C will freeze you out of the car in the summer. The wheels are from a 1993 Honda Del Sol and have some scuff marks on them but otherwise look a lot better than the factory steel wheels. The Bad: A 6 in tear in the upper part of the passenger seat, a small rust spot starting on the passenger side in front of the rear wheel well, (see Picture) and about a 8 in crack in the windshield on the passenger side. It does use a little oil but I think that would be expected after over 200,000 miles. This car is my daily driver and I'd have no problem driving it coast to coast which I might do to give to my son if it doesn't sell on here. More pictures are available if you have something specific you are concerned about.
