A great candiate for full restoration or if you desire a motor change This car is very rare to have been manufactured and titled as "IMPALA SPECIAL".I considered a v/8, but decided this car is awsome just as is! And it runs,and starts great! (No leaks,No smoke, No blowback and good oil pressure) I dont feel disperate to sell this piece of american history- Its just that I have too any cars and trucks in my collection. M y family members thinks that this 58 is of the most coolest we have ever owned. For example, the cameo pictured (NOT FOR SALE) is very collectable and desirable, same as this IMPALA. This car is very origional,except new door glass,all others oem and clear, new carpet,new battery, new muffler (needs tail pipe-a little loud) new tires on front, new brake line, new professional origional seats redone some extra stainless is included. This car has orgional paint, NEVER been re-painted, except in areas, such as the new fender caps were installed, The old girl does have some low body rust, which some has been attentded to, but still needs some TLC.(SEE PITURES) The paint does show it age, alot of buffing has taken place, some clips and dings are also present.. With a little time and labor, she could be more attractive and higher valued automobile!! However, can be driven as is.
