Relisted due to the winning bidder not realizing that the car is not in Australia...the car is in Charleston, South Carolina, USA. --------------------------------------------- I am selling my Impreza 2.5RS with 127,000 miles (highway miles if you care), 5 speed manual, full time All-Wheel-Drive. It has been a very fun car to drive but I have wanted something that I can tow with. The engine issue detailed below basically solidified those plans. The Bad: I'm selling this car due to an engine issue (run low on oil) that I do not have the time to fix. The engine has good oil pressure but has a connecting rod knock. If you are looking at this car, you should assume that at minimum it needs a rod bearing and at most is needs a used engine. The oil pressure is still good and the knock is not very pronounced when cold or under load. It only knocks at part throttle. The car is not down on power. If you are local to coastal SC and treat it with sympathy you can drive this car home - I'll even follow you with a tow strap. I would not recommend driving this car regularly until the engine is repaired. There are a couple of dings pictured, and a small crease on the driver's side fender arch. If you are sensitive to it, the last owner smoked but it's not noticeable to most people On to the good: This has been a Southern car all it's life. If you are looking for a Subaru, don't look up North to find a rusty one, look at this one. Interior in good condition. WRX style, heavily bolstered seats from the factory.Crisp 5 speed manual transmission. The gear ratios in this car are perfect.
