Due to a family medical crisis I am having to give up my 1975 Mazda RX3 wagon. It really saddens me to part with the car as I have put alot of effort in sourcing out hard to find parts for it. The car is 98% complete, just minor things are needing to be done. I have all the parts needed for completion and most of the parts are brand new. Original California RX3 wagon. It is currently registered (original plates) in California and insured/registered thru Aug 2013 (clear title). Body required no rust removal/repairs during the body prep and paint process. Areas needing attention (all parts are brand new and included with the auction and will require installation): - brakes/front/rear wheel bearings ($350) - suspension (brand new Koni Red shocks/strut inserts)(Ground Control Coil Over Kit/Camber plates and rear suspension lowering block kit- $700) - minor electrical (sorting out of non working lighting circuits - I'm sure it's a matter of replacing burned out bulbs but I haven't had the chance to look into it) - needs exhaust (all main exhaust items included - fabrication will be required) - Need to install bumpers (Euro spec thin Front/rear bumpers (rear was newly rechromed $350/front are in original good shape) -Euro-spec amber/red tail lights (brand new OEM $500) ***************************************************************** Completed items were done between April and Sept 2012: New Sherwin Williams paint job (August 2012) ($4000) All new rubber seals ($300) Fuel tank has been totally refreshed/boiled/cleaned/coated ($350) Brand new interior (seats/carpeting/headliner/dash/rear panels) ($1200) New windshield ($350) Brand New 3-core aluminum radiator $250) 12A motor-rebuilt (less than 27K miles) (pulled from my 81 RX7) Brand new Weber 48 IDA carburetor/Racing Beat manifold ($800) Racing Beat Road Race headers and collector ($350) Brand new Proxes R888 rear tires 225/50/15 and Dunlop Direzza 195/55/15 ($700) Brand new Rota RB wheels 15X8 rear 15X7 front ($700) Several other miscellaneous parts to mention but the above are the primary ones to be noted. -spare heater core assembly/box/controls - spare 1980 5 speed transmission - Rotary Shack Quick Shift/kit ($165) I have over $10K invested in the restoration project not including what I paid for the wagon. Vehicle was sold to 2nd owner in 2005 which sat in non op status until I purchased it April of this year. 2) As stated in description the car carries a clear California title with registration paid thru August 2013 with the original issued CA plates. 3) I have 2 spare complete 12A motors one which was rebuilt with a mild streetport and lightweight flywheel installed with a centerforce clutch assembly. A 3rd motor is a running 6 port 13B motor which came out of a FB 2nd generation RX7. I will include all 3 motors in this auction. 4)The 5 speed transmission that will be included in the auction is not currently installed, the orignal 4 spd manual is currently on the car. The 5 spd tranny is off a 1980 RX7 which will mount up requiring zero mods . 5) I reserve the right to end the auction early since I have the car advertised for sale locally. However it is buyer's responsibility to make all arrangements and to receive proper/accurate quotes for shipping. Remember the winning bidder is responsible for paying/covering the cost of shipping. - Vehicle Title/Registration Information - Vehicle has a CLEAR CALIFORNIA Title and currently titled and registered in my name - I am the legal owner. Vehicle's Road Worthiness - As stated in the description - the vehicle has been sitting in non operating status since 2005 before I bought it from the previous 2nd owner. No telling how long the vehicle was sitting before the 2nd owner bought it from the original owner. The appearance and condition of the brake and suspension components are more than likely the original components since rolling off the factory assembly line in late 1974. I highly advise not planning on driving it until the brake/suspension components are properly inspected and replaced. I have all necessary brake parts/suspension which are included in the auction. The car does not have the exhaust system installed - only the Racing Beat road race headers are installed. I have the pre silencer and muffler components which are included in the sale- the exhaust system will need to be fabricated/installed.
