THE CAR HAS GOT TO GO, PRICE IS CUT TO $2,000.00 (it was previously listed) I NEED IT GONE, BIDDERS BE PREPARED TO PICK IT UP IN A TIMELY MANOR. 1940 Ford De Luxe two door sedan. From the high desert of So. Calif. The car was disassembled in the 70's and then forgotten about, all I have done is cleaned out all the trash and 40 years worth of dirt and put a thin coat of primer on so the camera would pick up how straight it is, it does have minor dents and dings however there is NO BONDO. In the years a lot of the parts went missing as can be seen. What is being offered is a relatively rust free car with exception of the rear tail pan and the tool pan (see photos) the tail pan did suffer an attempt at a recessed license plate, but new stamped sheet metal is available, floors are really good, just surface rust with original paint. Original chassis, uncut firewall, interior is there minus door panels and gauges. It is missing engine, trans, trans cover, radiator, hood trim, bumpers, trunk lock, one door latch, steering, passenger window moulding, etc. You can tell the car has sat for a long time because that is all the original glass and the delamination is almost 100%. The VIN was ran through Calif. DMV and it is clear, I have no title and the car will be sold on a bill of sale. Really good sheet metal the only rust is in the trunk where some old rags were and caused the rust. There is a few small parts, handles, trim that go with it.
