This is a mature driver's 1966 Chevrolet Impala Convertible. This car is clean rust free and in great running condition. This is a hi-po V-8 engine that is estimated at 375 HP.This is a definite upgrade from the original 283. It sports a 4 barrel carb and a rebuilt 2 speed Powerglide that was installed in 2008 along with the engine. The distributor has been converted to the HEI for added reliability.This combo runs on pump gas for ease of use. The interior features a black seats with a blemish/tear on the drivers side and some wear on the drivers door panel which is expected with a car of this vintage. The carpet is black to accent the metal pieces found in the car. The column shifter,cd player,bench seating and power steering makes cruising relaxing. When the fully functional manual convertible top that's in A-1 shape with the glass rear window is lowered you can cover it with a matching red cover that buttons down and stows the top. As the pictures clearly show this is a awesome vehicle that is in dependable turnkey condition. This car sports new paint that was applied in 2004 and is offset beautifully with the Dayton wire wheels. This vehicle sports a solid floorboard and trunk.
