72 Chevelle LS1 based build This is my daily driver. Out of all the cars i've owned, this is my favorite. It started out as a tired big block 454 th400 trans 4:10 rear end 4 wheel drum car with a solid body and frame restoration done about 12 years ago by the previous owner. I wanted a car that I could drive anytime that would handle and blow away 90% of the cars on the road. So here's what we did: 5.3 engine painted old school colors. LS1 comp cams, springs and pushrods Edelbrock ceramic coated headers. Flowmaster dual exhaust with SS tips. It has a fair idle that sounds good without being crazy. specs are 224/228 @.050 on a 114 LSA. here's a rough idea of how the cam sounds at idle http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4xo0jqWRInE LS1 intake, fuel rails/ injectors.Corvette fuel regulator plus new fuel lines throughout and fuel pump. Everything is new here the engine management harness w/ fuse and relay panel-diagnostic connector and malfunction light. GM 4L60E Trans. Hughes Converter, trans cooler with new lines. Moser 9" with Detroit Truetrac and 3.70 gear. Baer 4 wheel power disc brakes. 17x9 replica SS wheels from year one. Full BMR suspension. Autometer gauges with dash kit. Vintage air AC. sound deadener installed while the interior was out. viper alarm with remote start power locks and trunk release.awesome bluetooth sound system with an infinite baffle old school subwoofer. Everything on this car works as it should. The paint is an 8 out of 10. the headliner needs attention but it's my daily driver ( 9400 miles on it : ) This can be a show car, garage queen or a worry free driver thats an absolute blast. clean clear title in hand.
