Vehicle Detail

This is a 1972 Honda z600. Its a 2cylinder, 600cc 4 speed. This is a rare car, the second Honda ever imported to the United States and only sold on the west coast. According to the forums theres only estimated to be about 300 on the road in the country currently. This one is in fairly good condition, the paint is still decent and the rust isn't too bad. The chrome is in really good shape, the body is very straight and the interior is pretty nice. The drivers seat has some damage 9seen in pictures) and the backseat has some holes in it from mice, but other than that the seats are in good shape. The dash is clear and has no cracks. The windows are all in great shape, and roll up and down nicely which is rare for a car of this vintage. This vehicle has been stored in a garage since 1982. I bought it with the intention of using it as a driver, but I'm going to college and no longer have the time to mess with it. I don't have the title (couldn't figure out how to express that so i clicked salvage,) but I have a bill of sale from the last guy and it allegedly has 40,000 miles on it. The brakes dont work, no idea why as I haven't looked. It will run, just not that well. the compression checked good, I emptied the gas and poured a gallon of new gas in it. It started right up, I drove it up the road and back but it doesn't quite run right....lacks power, possibly the carburetor? Thats as far as I've gotten into it. I'd love to get it going, I just don't have the time or money or motivation. Its an interesting ride, one can't truly appreciate how tiny it is until you stand next to it...it has 10 inch wheels and can easily be picked up off the ground by one person. Its also a hatchback, which is pretty cool. Im sure it gets ridiculous gas mileage, its basically a motorcycle engine. Everything works on it I think...headlights, blinkers, interior lights, horn, etc. Overall its pretty solid, and I'm completely confident if you knew what you were doing you could get it on the road in no time. Its in way better condition than my '77 Datsun which is my daily driver. It still has the tool kit and spare tire in the back.On Oct-13-12 at 02:13:29 PDT, seller added the following information: All Original!!
