Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is a 1949 Chrysler Windsor 4-door.I purchased this car with the intentions on making it a rat rod with all Ford drive train. After getting the car started(plugs, wires, points, fresh gas and so on ),I started to like how the car ran and sounded. So I put it off. So now 10 months later and still havent started on it ,I decided to sell the car.The car is very solid as you can see in the pictures. Someone did some repairs to the front floors with a heavy gauge sheet metal. The rear floors and the trunk is very solid. No major dents in the car that I have noticed, just a lot of surface rust and thick cracking paint ! Windows and doors work great.I was told by the previous owner that the engine was overhauled in 2008 .The brakes hoses and shoes have been replaced.I have current insurance and registration on the vehicle but I only drive it in the neighborhood since im not familiar with the fluid drive transmission. But over all the car runs and drives good and the brakes are good. All the lights and electrical is in working order.Good oil pressure and does not over heat or smoke. Good tires. It has a backseat but is not the original seat. It was missing when I bought the car. The car has a Tennesse title. Im listing this car with no reserve and starting it out at a fair price.Any questions feel free to ask. For the full asking price ,I will include the H.O 302 engine and transmission that I was going to put in the car. The engine was pulled from a wrecked 1971 Ford truck that I bought from a impound auction and it ran sweet. It comes complete minus the carburator. I will upload a picture of it shortly.I havent ran any numbers on the engine but im sure it is out of a late 80's early 90's Mustang 5.0 ********Im also open for trade or partial trade ( Ford or Mercury )
