Vehicle Detail

If you have any questions, please email me or we can discuss on the phone. First off, let me say I am not a dealer. I am a private owner and I have owned the truck for a little over a year. I didn’t detail the truck for the pictures. I simply washed, vacuumed it, and put Armor All on the tires for the pictures. It cleans up great and gets a lot of looks. The reason I’m selling it us because I recently had a child and need more than a single cab. I have a clean and clear Texas title on hand and I bought it from the original owner. When I purchased the truck it had 117,500 miles on it and today it has just over 129K. The truck is a solid truck I would drive across country in. It is an 11 year old truck and is what I would consider clean for its age, but it’s not perfect. I take my time when buying vehicles and I found this one to be in great shape when I bought it. I have done a lot of things to it and all the maintenance is up to date. I’ve tried to list everything I know about the truck, good and bad, and also included pics to show. If I’ve missed something, please ask for more information, more pictures, or feel free to come look and drive it in person, if you’re local. $500 Deposit is due within 24 Hours and full payment due within 5 days. I will not ship, but you can arrange your own shipping once payment is cleared. All sales final, no warranty is given or implied. The following is a list of things I did to the truck in September 2011: New Battery New Front Wheel Hub Bearing Assemblies on both sides New Front Rotors New Front Brake Pads New Rear Rotors New Rear Brake Pads K&N Air Filter Window Tint 2004-2007 Style GMC Grille Street Scene mirrors painted to match Roll Pan painted to match 2008 GMC Sierra 20” Wheels / Tires new 5/2012 Wheel locks Viper 2 way remote start alarm Model 5901– When the alarm goes off the LCD on the Keychain tells you what the problem is up to a 2 miles radius. I also had a tilt sensor installed so if someone tries to steal the wheels by jacking up the truck the alarm willsound. Comes with two remotes and 1 key to the truck 2” Lowering Shackle in rear to level it out Exterior: Paint is in good condition. Shines and is very reflective. When you get about 5 feet from it, you can see little things here and there but overall is in great condition compared to most other 2001 cars and trucks. In the pic near the roll pan on the passenger’s side, there is part of the plastic missing as you can see. The truck also comes with the stock chrome bumper and hides this if you choose to put it back on. The passenger side front fender has some light scratches that look like a bush brushed up against it, hardly noticeable and may buff out. Also see driver door handle where the truck was broken in to. The windshield has about a 12” crack in it, see pic. The rest of the windshield is perfect. Wheels: Wheels are off a 2008 Sierra. They’re the factory 20” wheels and have Nexen Rodian 275/45/20 inch tires on them. Every wheel stud is a wheel lock and comes with two lock keys. The wheels are perfect except one small nick in one of the wheels. TIRES WERE PUT ON IN MAY 2012 AND HAVE less than 2K MILES ON THEM. When the wheel guys were putting the wheels on they stripped one wheel stud on the passenger’s side rear. See pics. The truck also doesn't come with a spare tire. Someone stole mine the same time they broke into it. Interior: The seats and carpet are in great shape for a 11 year old truck. I’d say above average for its age. The truck was broken into last year and the plastic around the ignition doesn’t stay snapped tight, see picture. Also, they broke in my center console. So you have to stick your finger in there to push the lever down to open it. This isn’t a big deal at all and it opens easier now than before. That’s why they broke it, because it was hard to get into. Headliner, seats, carpet are all in great shape, no cracks on in the dash. Mechanical: The truck is a 4.3L V6 and runs great. It gets about 19MPG on the highway and 15MPG around town. The truck drives straight, the steering is tight and AC/Heater blows cold. The transmission shifts nice and tight like it's brand new. It's never slipped at all. I added a REMOTE start alarm so it now has keyless entry. The windows are manual. The only issues with it mechanically are when on the freeway, sometimes the check engine light will come on at 70 MPH. Its code P0304 if you’d like to research it, which is a #4 cylinder misfire detected. The truck doesn’t hesitate or anything and other than the light you wouldn’t know anything was going on. After decelerating to lower speeds, the light goes off. If you just drive around the city the light will not come on at all, just on freeways and at 70 MPH. Also, these truck are notorious for the ABS module to cause the ABS light and Emergency Brake light to stay on. I put a piece of electrical tape over the ABS light, I can remove it for the new owner if they wish. There is someone on Ebay that rebuilds the ABS module for $250. It doesn’t affect the performance of the truck or brakes whatsoever so I never fixed it. Wheels Interior
