I have owned this car for the last 4 years.It has been a great driver and I am sure it will make a great car for someone else looking for a great economy utility vehicle.This is a 1998 Toyota 4runner with the economy 4 cylinder engine(2.7 litre).The car is completely rust free and never wrecked or in any moving accidents.The silver metallic paint is in good driver condition.It is the original paint..It does not have any typical clear coat issues that most of these car develop through the years.There are a couple of dings,scratches,and normal wear for a car of this age.Car fits together perfectly and is complete except for the left rear mudguard that was shattered when the tire blew out.There is a small dent on the rear tailgate and rear bumper. The interior of the car is in good condition with some minor wear.The carpets are not wearing anywhere but do have some dirt stains.The front seats are in good shape except for the lower driver's seat,which does have a minor rip.The rear seat is slightly stained and does have some minor wear.The full legnth headliner is in excellent condition with no rips anywhere.Nice door panels.Everything operates well.Super cold air conditioning.Heating operates well.Radio and cd player both work.Cruise control and power antenna work fine.Ecr boost also works.Electric overdrive works perfectly.All the gauges and lights operate as they should. The car still runs and drives on its own power.You can get in and drive the car anywhere you want to go including long distances.It never overheats even in slow traffic.The engine was rebuilt from the previous owner at 118K,I got the car with 146K.It does not burn oil out of the tailpipe,but there is a minor oil leak at the back of the oil pan.It is running on 3 1/2 cylinders at this time.The compression test revealed the following about the valves and engine: cylinder #1)152 lbs,cylinder #2)155lbs,cylinder #3)62lbs,cylinder #4)157,which results in poor fuel economy.I was quoted about $900 for complete valve job,including parts and labor.This will need to be done to pass emissions in most states.When it was running well last year,it was getting 26-28 mpg on the highway.The transmission operates well and was serviced last year with no problems whatsoever.The brakes are good.The suspension and steerring are excellent.The tires are all in good condition. I am offering this car at no reserve.I think it would make a great driver for someone.
