This 1985 Camaro IROC Z28 has a 305 TPI engine with a 700R4 automatic overdrive transmission. The engine has only 240 miles on an overhaul. I purchased it with a spun rod bearing so I completely went through the engine. It is the original engine and has excellent oil pressure and runs very strong. The interior is very clean and has a new headliner and sunvisors. There is only a small tear on the drivers seat. The dash is not cracked, but there is a piece missing on the drivers side. The window tint is starting to peel. The speedometer had previously been changed to a 140 mph one, so I dont know the actual miles. After owning several of these I'm guessing that the mileage is only around 130,000 because of the condition and how well it drives. The paint shines but has a few chips, the areas where the LeBra cover was has lightened the paint, and the front lower fascia is damaged and will need body work and paint. The A/C does not work because I havent had time to recharge it. The temperature gauge reads 40 degrees too high, even after changing the sender and the gauge (it is a common problem), but the actual temperature never gets over 200 degrees. It could use new weather stripping on the doors. The T-tops show no sign of leaking. The storage bag for the T-tops has been ripped. It will come with a LeBra cover that was on it to cover up the bad paint on the front. The tires are fairly new and the wheels show no signs of curb rash. The exhaust had been recently replaced and sounds very good. This car was sold new in Kansas City and has been well taken care of as most of these cars have been modified, rusted out, or totally abused. These cars are getting hard to find in good condition and with a little more work this would be a very nice car. I'm selling this one because I have another and need the room.
