1956 Ford Customline two door sedan. Being sold "as is" for parts or restoration with very low reserve. Full length functional lake pipes and spinner hub caps. Motor is 302 connected to a C-4 Automatic. Motor runs smooth and quiet, no exhaust smoke. Transmission leaks, but shifts fine. Frame is straight, not a dog tracker. Drivable, but does not have seat belts or turn signals. Has Indy floor shifter and bucket seats in front. Some extra dash guages and interior parts included. No radio. Passenger side rear window glass is cracked, but replacement window is included. Car needs moderate rust repair. Front cross member needs replaced. Side body to frame mounting brackets need replaced. Floor pans need replaced. Car is primered over. Body seems solid, but I can't be certain what's underneath primer. The interior needs complete make over but with work and effort, can be made into a super nice ride. In the interest of being as fair and honest as I can, I am adding a few more details that the pictures might not show.The knob is missing on the left window crank. Rocker panels may need to be replaced, Head light switch needs replaced. Both front and rear bumpers need replaced, Hood doesn't fit very good to fenders.Grill is dented at top. No keys for ignition or door locks. Extra ignition lock and keys included but not installed. I haven't done a thorough under body inspection. I would prefer that the prospective buyer look the car over personally, but due to the nature of on line auctions that may not be possible. It is my intent to be as fair and honest as I can in listing the condition.
