I purchased this bike in Elkhart, Indiana in Sept. of 2005. I was looking for a super clean V65 to ride that was worth fixing up. It had 19903 miles on it. Current mileage is 21032. That owner had all of the fluids changed but it needed both cam chain tensioners replaced. It sat in my garage for approx. 1 1/2 years while I saved up my money. I then took it to Albin's Honda in Potterville, MI and had them go through the bike. Replaced were the tires, fork seals, cam chain tensioners, turn signal stems, starter solenoid, battery, several rocker arms, fuel filter, starter relay, engine coolant and a rebuild on the starter clutch. Buyer has the peace of mind knowing a reputable dealer has gone through the bike mechanically, the quality of this bike goes beyond just being spit shined and polished. Seat has also been re-upholstered. Later on I had them install a Kerker 4 into 1 exhaust system. I have the original exhaust and handlebars for the bike. All receipts are available with the exception of the original purchase on the Kerker exhaust system. Someone had already swapped out the factory handlebars with what currently is on it. I have a bike cover and Clymer service manual that goes with the bike. Just installed another new battery last year. Also, included is a Dodge Racing Promotions oil modification kit which is new and was never installed. This bike runs excellent and has no leaks. Transmission is in perfect condition. Bike has a couple of blemishes on the side panel and tank which is shown in the pictures. I always drained the carbs for the winter and ran Stabil through the fuel system. Regular oil changes have been done with fully synthetic Mobil One 4T racing 10w-40. I have a separate CD with 64 pictures on it. I can send it to anyone who is interested. I believe this is one of the best V65's you will ever find left. You will see them advertised for a lesser price, but they will not be this clean or have all of these items fixed or replaced. The rear brake squeaks a little when applied, that is the only thing that may need attention. Brake rotors are smooth. Obviously, this is sold as-is with no warranty. If it doesn't sell this time then I'm going to keep it. Earlier this spring I developed an interest in a Suzuki M109 Boulevard and wanted to use this money for a downpayment on a used one. Anything less than this price makes it unaffordable for me to buy another bike. I will chalk it up to "fate" that the other bike is not for me if it does not sell this time.
