For sale is my 1989 CBR 600. I am the original owner and purchased the bike at Pen Argyl Cycle in August, 1989. The roadways of Pennsylvania have changed a lot since 1989 and I wont blame texting and distracted drivers completely but I am no longer confident In the people I need to share the road with so it is time to sell my bike. Bike has been garage kept for its entire life. I have used it for weekend rides so the number of times it has seen rain is minimal. The bike has NEVER BEEN CRASHED. I did have it fall over on grass when the side stand buried itself, the main fairing cracked but it was professionally repaired and cannot been seen at all. The bike is still visually stunning although time has put a stain on the plastic, mainly at mechanical clamping areas. I have two pieces that broke off (See Pictures) one effects the side cover which locks in place with two screws is only held by one and I use clear tape to hold the rest in place, the second holds the rear fairing in place and a piece of clear tape and a bungee cargo net holds that piece securely. The bike is all original with the exception of tires, brakes, fuel pump, battery, and steel braided front brake lines. Also included is the passenger seat cover, and this bike has both the side stand and optional center stand mounted from day one. Bike was just inspected (Good until 8/13 in Pa.) it took a brake light and I was told the rear tire measured 3/32 and passed but will need to replaced soon, 2/32 is fail. Buyer is responsible for pick up from AAA East Penn Downeyflake Lane Allentown,Pa. Mileage : Currently 44,152. Will be about 5 miles more to get bike to AAA East Penn. Terms : Cash at title transfer which is to take place at AAA East Penn, either 10/18/12 between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. Or 10/20/12 between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm.
