This is an early "EMPI" style metal body dune buggy with a single port motor. It is a six volt system VW vehicle and it starts easy and runs well. It just had new brakes shoes and wheel cylinders all around as well. It is titled as a 1957 VW Beetle. It has a shortened pan as most did, has a 4 speed VW transaxle, the body is very well made of metal and very strong and really different looking. The pan is in decent shape but has had some fiberglass repair in the past on just the floor area. It has deep tread tires all around plus a nice set of alloy wheels. It comes with a removable tow bar and can be towed behind a RV or truck with ease, has two front seats and a fold down windshield (plastic now but should be replaced with safety glass). It is located in Santa Clara, CA next to San Jose. It has a CLEAN TITLE with no issues. Although you can drive it away it will need some TLC to really make it really right. This is really a different looking kind of buggy, great off road and with a little work would make a great daily driver. The wheel base is 78 inches, the body length is 105 inches, the rear is 53 inches wide, the front is 44 inches wide and the overall body length from front of the car to rear of exhaust tips is about 128 inches.
