mig4488 Store I am selling my 2001 Saleen 281 #804. This is a completely genuine Saleen. You can confirm the VIN with Saleen if you have questions about it's authenticity for any reason. This is my weekend car. I do not ever race this car, it has not been tracked. I go to car shows and drive it to work once in awhile. It is professionally detailed every 3-4 months and I baby it. With that being said, this car is a beast. It is supercharged with a ProCharger D1-SC. The engine is the original Saleen 281 engine with some modifications that are listed below. It was dyno'd awhile back at around 800hp (625hp at the rear wheels). The work was performed by Underground Racing in North Carolina. The car is in great condition. The interior is immaculate. The leather has no cracks and is in great condition. The only issue with the interior is the driver side seat. The rear latch that moves the back of the seat forward to allow rear passengers in and out is broken. The power functions of the seat work perfectly fine, it's just the rear manual latch that is broken. I never have rear passengers anyway, so this is a non-issue for me, but I wanted to mention it. The passenger side latch is fine, so rear passengers can enter on the passenger side without a problem. The exterior is in really good condition. The car is 12 years old, but it really doesn't look it at all. Overall, the paint is in good condition. There is absolutely no rust, peeling, bubbling or any other significant defect. There is a small scuff on the rear bumper that I highlight in one of the photos. The car has custom 20" wheels that look amazing. No curb rash or anything like that. They are in perfect condition. The tires are 245's in the front and 305's in the rear. They all still have plenty of tread. The car has been professionally tinted and is quite dark. I've had the rear taillights professionally smoked to a light-medium darkness. They are still perfectly visible. I have custom headlights also installed on the car with a light smoke. This car gets ridiculous attention absolutely everywhere. It looks absolutely amazing and sounds insane. Random people will come up to you in gas stations, parking lots, roll their windows down at traffic lights. You name it, people come out of the woodwork when I am driving this car around. If you don't like attention, this is probably not the car for you. I'm selling the car because I simply don't drive it. It's an extra vehicle that I just don't have time to enjoy right now. This is not a distressed sale and I am not desperate. Please don't waste everyone's time with silly offers. I have a clean title in hand. The car just had a fresh oil change and professionally detailed today. I'll be happy to work with any shipping courier. Buyer will be responsible for shipping of course.
