I'm listing this motorcycle for my Dad. He wrote the following in CAPS: 1976 HONDA CB550FOUR, 8599 MILES, LAST RIDDEN IN 1996. RAN FINE AND EVERYTHING WORKED THEN. I BOUGHT IT IN 1978 OR 1979 AND IT HAS BEEN GARAGE KEPT EVER SINCE I HAVE OWNED IT. HAS SMALL DENT IN FRONT FENDER AND SMALL CRACK IN BACK FENDER. SOME RUST. NEEDS CARBURETORS CLEANED, BATTERY, AND TUNEUP. SALE INCLUDES THE ORIGINAL AND COMPLETE TOOLKIT AND OPERATOR'S MANUAL. This is a classic, vintage motorcycle. Hard to believe it's 36 years old and has only 8600 miles on it. Almost all original. The fairing and footpegs were on the bike when Dad bought it. They could easily be removed if you wanted to. I believe the key lock was moved from below the left side of the tank to the present location between gauges. Dad got his other motorcycle running by simply replacing the battery and cleaning up the carbs (see below). He is certain that this one will be up and running with as little effort. But he's not into it anymore, so he's selling this one as is. Reserve price is $1,600.
