This is a 1968 Ford F-250 that we acquired awhile back from the original owner. Purchased in Pasadena, California, this is a very dry rust free classic. It was garaged for most of its life which explains the excellent condition of the original interior and rubber seals. It was repainted the original dark green before we bought it and there are virtually no dents. The interior is in excellent condition as well and features the original paint. The only paint flaw to note is the driver's side interior door panel that was sanded in the anticipation of getting it repainted. Some factory grey primer is showing through the original green. There are plenty of minor blemishes on the exterior that came with the truck when we bought it but the paint shows very nice and looks almost flawless from a few feet away. The bed was used for light duty work and towing. The paint is scratched along the surface of the bed. I do not know the exact mileage but I assume that it is low based on the condition of the undercarriage. The dash is beautiful with no cracks and all the knobs are present. This truck featured a factory air condition system that is no longer connected but all the components are still there. This truck also features a very rare early power disc brake system as well as power steering. It drives smoothly and quietly on 16" wheels with tall firestones for a classic look. I was told that the seat material is original with new padding so it is very comfortable to drive. All lights and horn work properly, the original radio works when it feels like it. The original 351 motor was swapped for a 390 by the previous owner. The truck features a long bed, built in lockable toolbox, and three fuel tanks. We currently only use one located at the bed where the round locking fuel cap is. I would recommend cleaning and servicing the other tanks before putting them to use. There is a slow power steering fluid leak at the box that is not yet critical but will need attention eventually. This is not a show truck but we get compliments on it all the time. It is clean, original, and a joy to drive. We are serious about selling so we have placed a very realistic reserve on this auction. Please feel free to email me with any questions before buying.
