This is a 2000 Volkswagen Beetle GLS TDI. Don't let the miles scare you. It's just getting started. It runs and drive 100% and is being sold with low reserve. These vehicle get 45+ MPG AVG. The 1.9L four cylinder turbo charged diesel engine starts right up and runs with no miss. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly with no hesitation. The brakes, steering and suspension are all good. There is a new battery. I have three keys, two remote controls and a valet key. Also all originals books. The exterior is a little challenged. There are a few scrapes. No major dents and stone chips on the hood. The tires, on factory 16" alloy wheels, have about 60% tread. The windshield has a crack on the passenger side. The lights and lenses are good.. The power windows, sunroof, locks, etc. work as designed. It has a factory sound system with a 6 CD changer in the trunk. One of the rear license plate lights is missing.Despite the few cosmetic short comings, this car runs and drives with no problem. These cars have been known to almost run forever. I am only selling because I now need a four door wish i could keep this one but my boyfriend and I are both compromising to get a four door. The check engine light comes on because of the air intake but it comes on and off however it has lasted up to 300 miles without reappearing.
