Re-Listing due to person not following through with purchase. Please don't bid if you do not wish to buy. Thank you for your time. Vehicles are as is and there are no TITLES! This is an original Military 1978 Jeep CJ5, with an original (Top has Jeep decals with serial numbers) steel hard top and steel doors. And the buyer of this one gets a 1979 CJ5 thrown in with it for free!! These Jeeps are for PARTS and do not come with a title. I am selling this future project due to deploying in the military, and I don't want it just sitting around for a couple years. Along with this Green Jeep is another 1979 that I was using for parts. This is also included. There are multiple pictures. The one with the two Jeeps together is how I got them, before starting. I had the green tub off of the frame, but it has been put back on and bolted (perimeter) down for easier transport. Green CJ5: Very solid!! Tub's floor pans have a couple holes, but very strong and solid, and built heavy. Couple small pinholes of rust here and there, but overall very solid, it is from 1978. You can see the hard top in the pictures. This has the Jeep inline 6, 3 speed transmission, and transfer case. Included are almost everything you need; engine, transmission, transfer case, drive shafts, tub, axles (with auto hubs), gas tank, frame, fenders, hood, grill, steel top, steel doors, seats, and many other small parts. The top is original to Jeep, still has decals inside. You can see the doors are solid, bottom edge starting to rust. Doors have manual crank windows that all work. THIS IS A 1978 JEEP CJ5 STEEL HARD TOP, WITH ALL OF THE GLASS FREE OF CHIPS AND CRACKS!! Tires are fit enough to hold air and roll freely, but definitely weathered. All external body parts are currently in the cab, with the hood sitting behind the Jeep. I have not ran the engine. When fluids were drained/checked all were perfectly clean and free from dirt, debris, ect.. I have not compression checked it with the starter (not hooked up), however compression check turning over by hand shows all cylinders are good and almost identical. Keep in mind that is by hand though. Blue CJ5: Has manual locking hubs (I haven't moved them over to green Jeep yet), axles, body parts, tub, and more small items. Tires are rough. I hate to see the project go, but it must. Whether you are just starting out or very mechanically inclined, this is the perfect project. Parts are very easy to get/find. Body is extremely solid, and any parts that could use welding are all flat and straight making welding much easier. The body is also strong enough that you could easily wait on the body work and just drive it like it is. There is NO SHIPPING. Buyer must come pick up the vehicles. You must contact me at the completion of hte auction to see when you can pick them up. I am extremely flexible, but it must be reasonable.
