This is a barn find 1964 chevy ss impala with factory p/s,p/b,a/c. This car is a one owner with only 64000 miles only. It sat in a barn for 25 years and the father gave it to his son and the son sat it up under a tree for about 4 years. He then decided to let a body shop do some repairs well the shop patched the four floor pans and trunk pan they did a fair job but i would replace them. They painted the body and did some body work that is poorly done. I had planned on just redoing the whole car. The car is solid as a rock the body lines are perfect and the rockers are very solid, the windows have no cracks, doors shut properly, new brakes, rebuilt front end, new gas tank, solid frame, and the car can be driven anywhere in the world and uses no oil at all. I paid a great deal of money for this car but my wife told me either her or the 64 had to go after thinking about it for a month I decided to let the 64 go away. I am restoring a 49 merc and a 62 bel air bubbletop and she told me those two were enough and i agree. This is probably the most solid project you will find I had sprayed it off and it was not dry when i took the pictures. A man can spend 300 in sheet metal for pans and have a superb car or just drive it like it is. I wish you would come and see it in person.
