2008 Volkswagen RABBIT / GOLF – LOW Reserve!!! Up for sale is my ’08 Rabbit. It has 89,334, I’m very sad to see her go…. I am offering this car at VERY LOW RESERVE!! Bid with confidence!! Engine +Drivetrain 9/10 This engine is bulletproof. With the modifications done, the engine turns very quickly…torque is abundant at very low RPMs. The car averages 26 MPG around town and 33 MPG highway (I refrain from using the AC). 2nd Gear starts are a piece of cake. *Recent Maintenance -Routine Mobile 1 Synthetic Oil Changes, every 3-5k Miles (not VW’s recommended 10k intervals) Last Change @ 86k Miles -Ignition Coils/fuel filer/sparks are less than 8k miles old -Motul Synthetic Gearbox Oil @ 84k, Clutch/syncros are in perfect working order *Performance Upgrades -GIAC Dealer installed software -Passed Emmisions in 2012 -Ram Air Intake with canister filter (does cause CEL ), I still have the stock intake with synthetic dry filter and this eliminates CEL. -Lightweight ECS Underdrive Pulley ($150) -Custom Built Straight Pipe 2.25” Exhaust, single to Y-Pipe with 3” Tips …quite at idle, drone at 55-65 MPH, but BEAUTIFUL at full song…($1000) Suspension + Brakes -H&R Cup Kit at 82k Miles, VW Dealer Installed ($1000) -H&R 20 mm Spacers all around ($250)R32 wheels (75-80 % tire thread left all around Pirelli PZero Nero 225-40-18 -ECS 26mm front & 23mm rear sway bars ($750), still have stock ones if interested. -Pads are “Red Stuff” replaced at 55k miles (I drive a lot of highway) Rotors are original…brakes straight, fast and quiet. Exterior 7/10 Some body panels have light scratches, door dings, bumper and hood has stone chips ect….-Short Antenna-Volkswagen Roof Rack ($350)-Weathertech window deflectors ($75) -Blacked Out Side Markers-The front bumper has the original grill also have a euro grill and notch fill piece for bumper and hood. Also. The lower driver side grill has been replaced with a ‘fog lamp’ grill to accommodate my ram air design. -Lower Rear Bumper has cutouts for the ’dual’ exhaust... -Also has a tow bar installed and comes with ball/hitch (never used) ($300) Interior 8/10 -No rips or tears in seats/headliner/or anywhere else…just normal wear and tear -Gorilla Rear Mat -Shortened shift knob, boot is in fair shape -iPod interface plugin for radio (dealer installed) -Heated Seats -Overall it is ver clean, with very few scuffs..etc. Just vaccumed and shampooed to best of my ability I’ve included as much info as possible….also have two remote control keys both work perfectly and recent service records from VW dealer available. this car is a lot of fun and reliability for not a lot of $$$.
