1985 Honda Big Red 250 ES

Up for auction is a 1985 big red 250 es. this bike is in good working order everything works on the bike except the headlight is stuck in the hi beam position when turned on. the valve cover is leaking a little oil and has been for the 15 years that i have owned it. it does not leak enough to affect the oil level as when i check it every time before i ride the bike the oil level is always good. the headlight has been hit by a rock and has a little nick in it, the fairings are faded a little, the front fairing has touched the exhaust and has a melted spot on it, the frame has some surface rust on it, the racks have been cleaned up and repainted recently and the seat cover has just been replaced. i am the third owner of this bike i bought it from a friend who purchased it in the early 90's. this bike has never given me any major problems i have had the timing chain replaced once years ago, the gas tank has been repaired, and that is it other than normal maintenance.there is no shipping on this bike. local pickup only, but a delivery hot shot service can be used if you set up the delivery yourself. the bike is in greenwell springs louisiana 70739. if you would like to see more pictures please message me and let me know what you want to see pics of and i will send them right over to you once i have taken the specified pics.
