The 1963 Corvette Sting Ray was the first Corvette to be offered as both coupe and roadster. The 1963 Corvette remains and still retails for an excellent price. Although offered with basically the same engines as the 1962 models, the beauty of the exterior has turned this car into a true collectors item.I am offering my 1963 Corvette Roadster for sale as a true bit of American motoring history. This car is NOT a matching numbers car, however, it does have the 327 small block V-8. The motor was rebuilt circa, 1998, and since less than 5,000 has been put on the clock. The car still retains it's original Corvette RED color and nicely appointed black interior. The paint is in excellent condition as is the interior. The top is virtually in NEW condition. The tyres are very new , with less than 500 miles. The chassis is "rust-free". All the original gauges are in the car ( see pictures), and so is the AM radio . The motor was recently tuned and runs very well. The 4 speed transmission (rebuilt along with motor) shifts effortlessly and the clutch is in very good order. I have documented receipts for ALL work done on this car since my ownership in 1998. This car has a race cam for the weekend "hotdogging". The glass windscreen is in very good condition and the chrome looks very nice. I have the original "knock-off" hubcaps on the car and the suspension was aligned when the motor was rebuilt. The overall condition is very good, but not a show winner yet. With a little weekend tinkering it very well could be. I encourage all potential buyers to have a PPI done prior to bidding on my car so there are NO latent discussions after the bidding ends.
