This is a 1990 Suzuki DR650S. It has 22565 miles on it, but I rebuilt the engine about 5 years ago, after I heard a tapping noise from the bottom end. The rod bearing was badly worn, so I put a new connecting rod, bearings on both ends, high compression Wiseco piston, and endless piston rings on it. I've put maybe 600 miles on it since then, as I don't ride it at all anymore. I have been repairing, riding, and maintaining motorcycles since I was 14 years old, so I do know what I'm doing. I'm 53 now. It runs great, and starts right up if you know how to start a big, single cylinder bike. This was the first year of this model I believe, and it's kick start only. It has a smaller than stock rear sprocket, and larger one at the engine. This means it's very fast and will cruise at highway speeds very comfortably. It has the beefy aluminum rack on it, which was replaced in later years by a crappy tubular steel one. All lights, turn signals, and horn work. The tires are the type originally fitted on it, although they're about 3 years old. The paint is original, but has been touched up on the tank. All plastics are close to perfect. I bought it in California when I lived there a few years ago, so it has the smog equipment still on it. It has a Supertrapp pipe, which is a bit loud for around here, but you can add or remove discs as needed. I have some extra, which will come with. it. The only non-stock things on it are the Pipe, bar grips, and bar ends. This machine is extremely clean, as I have never taken it off-road. It looks a little dusty from sitting in my garage for a while.
