1957 FORD F100 CUSTOM CAB SHORT BED BIG WINDOW The truck is equipped with the original 272 v8 motor and 3 speed transmission. It is a daily driver. The motor runs well and starts up every time. It has a new clutch, and a fresh rebuilt carb. Everything works, gas gauge, headlights, taillights, turn-signals, wipers. The speedometer is the only thing not working. The cab is solid and so is the bed. It is a New Mexico truck so it is not all rotted. It has a very small amount of rust on the passenger side, where the step and door jam meet. The rest of the cab is solid. It has a newly upholstered bench seat and the floor has a custom fitted rubber mat that has padding and is glued down it looks nice. It is a big window custom cab. The motor runs strong and is original. I drive the truck on a daily basis and I have driven it 160 mile round trips down i-10 into texas at 75-80 mph. It has a new dual exhaust system with smitthy glass pack, they have a nice deep rumble.The roof is painted with Ed Roth ruined retina red metal flake, and the body is a black acrylic enamel one stage. It looks nice but its not a show quality job. The truck is not perfect, it is a 55 year old truck! But is a really nice truck for a hot rod, rat rod, kustom, classic resto or just cruise it as it is! These Fords are coming up in value fast and are getting harder to find. This one has all the desirables, big window, styleside, shortbed, and V8!I have a nice set of skinny whitewall tires for it and original ford dog dish caps all chrome.
