Vehicle Detail

Selling my restored 1973 Triumph Tiger 750. Bike was bought in Florida but spent it's life in California prior to my purchase. It was restored between 2010-11 and has been ridden a few hundred miles a summer for last 2 years. It kills me to sell this bike but I'm 6'3", don't ride it enough and I need a bike that fits me better and can be ridden in all weather conditions. To me this is too nice to be ridden in inclement weather is not taken out in the rain! The beauty of the tiger 750 is that it shares the same if not better handling and power characteristics of the Bonneville but has a single carb which makes for very easy tuning and maintenance plus it's much rarer than a Bonneville and more desirable. Bike looks exceptional and rides and runs perfectly but I'll get any issues out of the way first. There is a slow oil leak while running coming from front exhaust push rod guide block seal. It's not that bad but every few rides I'll wipe area clean. The top end was rebuilt last winter and this seal was not replaced. I am selling as-is for now or if it doesn't sell then I will fix it over the winter and sell for a higher price next summer. The tickler on the carb does not cause gas to flow but it starts fine without it. After float bowl was flattened and new style float and viton tipped needle were put in this year tickler stopped working. Needs to be pulled down but I've had no reason to fix it since it starts fine without using.Frame was repainted by prior owner and it does have some paint chips here and there. Here is what has been replaced with new parts, parts are from British Cycle supply or Baxter's:Front tire ( original front rim, hub, spokes & fender)Fr. wheel bearingsFr. It starts easily, pulls strong and burns no oil, compression is over 130psi per cylinder. Buyer is responsible for pick up or delivery. I prefer cash or bankcheck but I'll accept paypal for complete payment but 4% will be added to selling price. Auction is for USA and Canada only. More photos available upon request. Thanks for looking!
