I bought this car to restore,but I found a 66 mustang that I,m going to redo instead,sence I already have two 66 XKE,s.The bodywork had already been started when I got it,But NOT finnished There are some fiberglass patches in the footwell pans,but they look OK.The floor under the seats look good The spare tire well looks good.The rust seen in the pictures is just surface rust.Doors and rockers have been worked ,but I cant tell how much.The bonnet (hood) looks very good.I dont think it has ever been in an accident. The engine turns over freely ( no werd sounds) It has AC.I,m 99% sure it works.It still had pressure and the clutch is not frozen so it should work.The jack and hammer and ignition switch are missing.I removed the engine and interrior three weeks ago to start restoration,but things have changed It needs pretty much everything but its very doable I was going to put the three carb system on it using stromberg carbs instead of the very high dollar SU HD8,s I think it will work with a few modifications.( Your call,the tripple or original)The xke coupe is the most beautyful car ever,I,ve been driving them sence 1965.....E bayers with no or low feedback, contact me others with questions E mail and I,ll send my phone number....Tire kickers and low ballers ....forget it ........I may trade this car for a XK8 or a jag mark2
