Upon closer inspection you'll notice the less than stellar paint job. On the top you can see where the old topcoat was peeling underneath the new paint. There is orange peel throughout. Additionally, there has been some less than adequate touch up work done on top of the drivers door and the rear passenger door from where the paint was cracking. The body is as clean as you will find any where. No dents or dings anywhere. She's a southern girl, so there is no rust as well. All the trim is in great shape except for the front passenger wheel trim has some damage. The 2 front tires are in good condition, the rear 2, not so much. It has the factory doughnut spare in excellent condition. The drivers side map holder is partially broken, and also secured with black gorilla tape. The drivers seat is a bit warped and shows some wear, but very presentable. The passenger seat, back seat, carpet, headliner, and cargo area are all in excellent condition. All the power windows work as they should. The clock, speedometer, odometer/trip all work. The blower motor makes a whining sound on high. The heat will burn you out of the car. The heated seats used to work, but don't seem to now, could be a fuse or.....? The a/c blows semi cool sometimes. It was checked out and the compressor and everything tested fine. I've had 3 240's and not one of them has cooled to my liking. A freon charge might help a little, but I wouldn't expect miracles. All the lights, wipers, etc work as they should.The SRS light is on. The engine starts on the first try every time, even after sitting a few weeks, and purrs like a kitten. The transmission shifts smooth and functions as it should. The front shocks are shot, and the back ones are not much better. It also needs a right tie rod end and a front end alignment. New shocks and 2 new tires and I wouldn't hesitate to head across country in this car. These are one of the all time greats when it comes to dependability, and to find one this clean is getting much harder to do.
