For sale is my 1979 Ford F250 Camper Special. I bought this truck in 2007 fom an estate in Suffield, OH where it had been bought locally in 1980. A straight truck. In 2008 I completely restored it. Unfortunately I have left it sitting outside for two years and rust is taking hold. I hate to sell this truck but letting it sit outside like I am doing will be the death of it. Please somebody buy this truck and use it! It is mostly original. It had 110,000 miles on it when I bought it. The hood and the grill are quality aftermarket pieces. The gate is from another 79. It has excellant tires on it. They have less than 9,000 miles on them. The spare is brand new. The air conditioning works great! I had it recharged a year or two ago. The bed mat is like new. The am/fm radio works well. The brakes are in good shape but the parking brake isn't operable. I do have a new set of calipers and pads that will go with this auction. The coils springs have been replaced, the fuel tank and sending unit have been replaced, the trans. filter and oil have been replaced, muffler and tail pipe replaced, the carb rebuilt, and a complete tune up were done within the last 9,000 miles. As seen in the pictures the original owners manual and owners warranty card are included. Rust- please study the pictures well. There is some rust taking hold. When I restored it in 2008 we replaced the floor of the bed with 1/8" diamond plate so it is very solid. The truck is sold as is with no warranty so please come and drive it or ask your questions prior to bidding. Reserve is set at $1500.00
