I AM RE-LISTING, THIS IS A RACE CAR, DRAG CAR, POSSIBLE PRO-STREET, NOT A DAILY DRIVER 1976 Mustang Cobra II. Was made into Drag car in the early 80's, Frame is tied, has ladder bars and leaf springs with narrowed 9" rear and Strange axles, Rear drum brakes are all new, 31" x 14" x 15 Goodyear slicks, rear tubs are made of aluminum diamond plate, has dual batteries in the rear with external kill switch. Hurst shifter, trans cooler, Not sure what Stall convertor is. Has Aluminum motor plates and solid trans mount, new transmission cooler and lines, New Moroso swtch set with breakers, All new gauges and dash. Car has new wiring harness. alternator and regulator are new, Holley fuel pump and filter assembly are new in rear has fuel cell, regulator is under hood, Accell coil and points Distribiter, MSD 6AL ignition box, Ford Motorsports wires, Holley aluminum covers, Wieand dual tunnel ram, Dual Holley mechanical carbs, single feed, single pump. big tube headers dump into 4" collector, New Starter. Engine has 429cj 4U crank, Solid cam & lifters. Sealed power 2366 pistons Car was disassembled and painted when I bought it in the spring, Engine was dissassembled to make sure it was good, I found out it was 429cj and not a 460 so that was a good day, car was put together and wired over the summer and it runs and moves now, brakes work but could use an upgrade in the front, still has 4 bolt set up. has front line lock not wired yet but it is in front lines. have not driven other than in parking lot so not too sure on trans, it was clean inside when we put in new filter.Transmission does slip in forward, have spare c-6. does move enough to load Car is rust free, underneath is spotless, doors are very solid, rear quarters are lengthened. Paint is Eastwood Urethane Enamel, It is no show quailty paint, has ruff texture but for a 1st paint job they did ok, it was like this when I got it. turn signal and brake lights are not wired in yet. We just did basics with new panel, Starter, ignition, fuel pump, fan, alternator, lights, oil pressure gauge, volt gauge and temp gauge work, speedo not hooked up, tach not hooked up and there is no fuel sending unit. Manual steering and brakes There is also too good seats & belts, but seats are too wide with center console.
