Vehicle Detail
Recent financial hardships force me to part with my baby- Project 81. The modifications to this bike are too numerous to list, but here are some highlights: -All new internals (less than 50 miles) -Wiseco 890 "big bore" kit -Cycle X carb system -CB900 oil cooler/pan -Benjies Cafe Racer tank and seat -Digital Speedo -Norton Commando 19" rear wheel -Custom frame fabrication and wiring (performed by Anchor Motorcycles) -New Avon Distanzia tires - New battery, shifter seal and cam cover seal installed this summer This motorcycle was featured in last fall's edition of Cafe Racer Magazine. My intention was to build a sleek, minimalistic road racer that pays homage to the great Nortons, Triumphs and MV's of the past. Included in this sale are my original sketches, all reciepts and a cd with countless pictures documenting the build. This motorcycle has it's own blog page that details the entire build of the motorcycle. Go to www.anatomyofacaferacer.blogspot.com to see the build from beginnning to end. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING! THE MOTORCYCLE IS NOT IN RIDING CONDITION (AND WILL NOT BE BEFORE SALE) It needs: -Leaky fuel petcock re-sealed (leaks like a sieve) -Carbs tuned -Brake light fixed -Gas tank relined (have new KBS coating kit) -Paint fixed where fuel petcock leaked (see picture) **This motorcycle will need to be hauled to new owner** **Transportation must be provided and arranged by buyer** My loss is your gain. Why pay 10-20 thousand dollars for a motorcycle, when you could get this one at a fraction of that? I do realize i'm taking a huge hit on this motorcyle after sparing no expense building it. I've set the reserve for about a quarter of what I have invested in it. No bidders with 0 feedback. This motorcycle is not a "cruiser", it has a pretty extreme riding position (if I were keeping it, I would probably relocate the rear-sets). This bike is really fast when tuned in, so no beginnners and no "I need to secure financing" dreamers. Also, no scammers claiming they are outside of the country or elsewhere. $500 dollar deposit due within 24hrs Full payment within 7 business days I have a clean and clear title in my name, ready to sign over.On Sep-25-12 at 15:38:30 PDT, seller added the following information: ****The Reserve has been lowered. The reserve will be met with the next bid. Thanks, Pete
