2003 LAND ROVER DISCO II SE7 WITH TOW PACKAGE VERY HARD TO FIND "BLACK ON BLACK" SEVEN PASSENGER DISCOVERY II BRAND NEW HEADLINER INSTALLED THIS PAST SPRING $3000 VALUE NEW FRONT BRAKES- REAR BRAKES AT 50%+ This truck started it life out in Great Britain and then ended up in Minneapolis as a dealer car, it was later sold and left the state, several years ago I purchased it and brought it back to Minneapolis to be owned by a Brit! It has been a great truck for us, one that has never broken down or left us stranded. I've owned 5 Land Rovers and four have been Range Rovers, the Disco II with the 4.6 V8 and seven passenger option is by far the best of them all. I can't begin to tell you how hard it is to find a black on black SE7, it took my wife and I over 6 months to find this one. Truck has a few dings here and there, all can be easily removed and I'd be happy to work that into the sale price. The engine does leak oil, this is a common trait of the 4.6L motor used by Land Rover, my parents past Range Rover 4.6L started leaking at 20,000 miles and no matter what land rover of Minneapolis did, the truck always leaked oil. The check engine light is on, it has been on since I purchased it because I used regular gas and not premium gas, the low octane gas sets off the oxygen sensor and trips the check engine light, considering the engine was designed in the 1950's by GM and is a used truck, 'm of the logic it runs fine on regular(However I do only use synthetic motor oil). Front brakes were put on Sept 7th 2012, the tires are good and rear brakes are 50% plus. Windows are all power and all work.....please feel free to contact me with any questions. Carfax shows a fender bender from the owner prior to myself, the bumper was painted and nothing else. This truck will not disappoint! This has been used to haul my daughters and there friends, also for a couple of road trips with the wife and in-laws. The truck is currently being driven, but will be garaged on the 18th of Sept at my second home, I will post the end miles at that time. On Sep-29-12 at 13:48:56 PDT, seller added the following information: The two front doors are fully remote functional, but the three rear have only super lock function, so you have to unlock them manually from the inside of the truck....not sure how all three can go out at once, this is a very normal issue for land rovers...so you will have to reach around and unlock the doors manually for passengers to get into the back, and reach into the back rear to unlock the back door. I'm not willing to invest resolving this because at this price I'm selling for what I owe on the truck, my goal in selling this is not to spend money on a third vehicle which we now store. Pick up of the vehicle cannot be done until around 10-5-12 or after.
