Vehicle Detail

OK, here is every thing I know about this car; the good, the bad, and the ugly. It is actually a Corvair Monza (per the VIN code) that has been converted to a Corsa in every detail. NOTE: Odometer reads 16,268, but the actual mileage is unknown as the speedometer/odometer is not original. The car was part of a gentleman's personal collection and sat in a warehouse with a hundred other GM cars for over six years. After acquiring the car in 2010, I spent thousands of dollars to replace deteriorated parts to make it a safe running vehicle that can be driven every day. Items replaced in the past 2 years include fuel tank, lines, brake cylinders, Kayaba shocks, springs, electronic ignition, battery, battery cables, plug wires, choke assembly, carb (rebuilt), fuel pump, fuel pressure gauge, main seal, valve cover & oil pan gaskets, bulbs, bushings, and just two months ago a brand new set of B.F. Goodrich tires. The only thing left is to address a few rust holes underneath the car and a spot on the driver's door which can be repaired (see photos). The interior is all new, but the radio (not original) is in need of replacement. The electric convertible top (tan color) works flawlessly. I have driven the car every weekend for the past couple of years, often to local car shows. At this time I have over $10K invested, but am cutting it loose with a very reasonable reserve.
